The Journey to Cappadocia My recent trip to Cappadocia from Ankara was an adventure right from the start. I boarded the bus with high hopes, but it didn’t take long for things to get complicated. Due to a traffic accident, our bus was delayed by two hours. I had planned to enjoy the night view of Cappadocia with a glass of wine and then head out for a hot air balloon ride at dawn. However, the delay meant I arrived late, checked in, and went straight to bed. Early Morning Wake-Up Call At 5 AM, I was woken up by the gentle buzz of my alarm. The tour company had arranged a car to take us to the hot air balloon launch site. The early morning chill was biting, but the excitement kept me warm.
