Early Morning Start
Our adventure began at the crack of dawn, with a 6 AM departure. We started our day with a simple sandwich breakfast before heading out. After a long drive, we made a stop at our driver's home, where we were warmly welcomed and treated to a light meal.


Off-Road Adventure Begins
Once we switched to our off-road vehicle, the real adventure began. From this point on, our phones lost signal, and our skilled drivers navigated using landmarks and a compass instead of GPS.


Exploring the Black Desert
Our first destination was the Black Desert. This area, once a seabed, was fascinating with its remnants of ancient marine life. The contrast of the dark sand against the blue sky was breathtaking.


Relaxing at the Artificial Oasis
Next, we visited an artificial oasis. Here, we dipped our feet in the cool water, and those who brought swimwear or extra clothes enjoyed a refreshing swim. It was a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings.


Thrills in the Sand Dunes
After our oasis break, we headed to the sand dunes. Our guide, Hwisung, brought sandboards, and we had a blast sliding down the dunes. It was an exhilarating experience that added a dose of adrenaline to our day.


Capturing the Beauty of the Desert
We then moved on to a rocky area, perfect for taking photos and admiring the stunning landscape. The unique rock formations provided a fantastic backdrop for our pictures.





Dinner Under the Stars
As the day came to a close, we set up tents near mushroom-shaped rocks and enjoyed a simple yet delicious dinner with some beers. The highlight of the evening was the night sky. The stars were incredibly vivid, and we even saw shooting stars every ten seconds. It was a sight to behold.


A Glimpse of Desert Wildlife
Although we couldn't capture it in photos, we were lucky enough to spot a desert fox searching for food in the early morning hours. It was a rare and delightful sight.


Wrapping Up the Tour
The next morning, we packed up and prepared to leave. We returned to our driver's home for a quick breakfast before concluding our unforgettable desert tour.
